Rubbers

Natural and synthetic rubber for parts that seal, flex and last.

We source natural rubber and the full range of synthetic elastomers from qualified producers across Southeast Asia and North America. Every lot ships with producer certificates of analysis, and we hold consignment stock at port for scheduled release programs. Tell us what the part has to survive and we will tell you what to compound it from.

LOWER-IMPACT OPTION

Natural rubber can be supplied from producers with documented replanting and effluent programs, and we quote bio-based EPDM and devulcanised compound where the specification allows it.

WHAT IT IS FOR

Start from the job

Each tile names an application we supply into and what it demands of the material. The grade itself is settled per enquiry.

Tires

Retread and new-tire compounds built on natural rubber and SBR for the tread, with halobutyl for the inner liner because nothing else holds air as well. Consistency from lot to lot matters more here than peak properties, since a tread compound that drifts shows up as scrap at the press.

Hose, belting and rollers

Conveyor covers, hose tubes and cast rollers live or die on abrasion resistance and resistance to flex cracking. General-purpose duty runs on SBR and natural rubber blends, oil service moves to nitrile, and chloroprene earns its cost wherever flame resistance is specified.

Seals, gaskets and O-rings

Most sealing failures are compression set at temperature rather than outright chemical attack. The fluid and the service temperature decide the compound together, not either alone, which is why the same flange gasket specification lands on nitrile in one plant and EPDM in the next.

Footwear and sports equipment

Outsoles have to survive years of flexing without cracking and still grip a wet floor, while sports goods are chosen for how much energy they give back rather than what they resist. Both are volume trades where compound cost is scrutinised line by line.

Automotive and transportation

Body seals and weatherstrip have to hold their shape through decades of sun and ozone, while mounts and bushings absorb energy for years without creeping or debonding from their metal inserts. Under-hood parts add heat and oil to the same list.

Building and construction

Glazing gaskets, curtain wall profiles, roofing membrane and expansion joints, where the compound has to hold its properties through decades of weather without cracking. EPDM has been the default for fifty years; chloroprene is specified where flame spread is regulated.

Electrical and electronics

Cable jacketing and sheathing have to stay flexible at low temperature and hold up to abrasion where the cable is dragged, while regulated installations add flame and smoke requirements on top. Grommets and strain relief are the same compound problem at a smaller scale.

Medical and healthcare

Tubing, closures and moulded components in silicone and peroxide-cured EPDM. What matters here is documentation as much as chemistry: lot traceability back to the producer, and grades supported by the compliance statements your auditor will ask for.

Food packaging and containers

Closure liners and cap gaskets carry the seal on a jar or a bottle for the whole of its shelf life, so the compound has to resist compression set without tainting what it touches. Food-contact grades ship with the compliance documentation to match.

Agriculture

Irrigation seals, milking liners and livestock matting all run for long periods without inspection, in conditions that combine water, dirt and animal fats. Fatigue life and resistance to swelling matter more than peak strength.
